Nepal Premier League T20 Format
The Nepal Premier League will use a round-robin format for its inaugural season. In the league stage, each of the eight teams will play against all the other teams once, totaling seven matches per team.
After the league stage, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs:
Qualifier 1: The top two teams will face off, with the winner securing a direct spot in the final.
Eliminator: The third and fourth-ranked teams will compete, with the winner advancing to the second qualifier.
Qualifier 2: The loser of Qualifier 1 will play against the winner of the Eliminator for the remaining spot in the final.
Final: The winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will battle it out for the championship title.
This format adds a competitive edge, allowing top teams multiple chances to reach the final while keeping every playoff match crucial.
