Nepal vs UAE – Fifa World Cup 2026 Qualifier

Nepal is facing UAE today in the qualifying match under FIFA World Cup 2026. The match will start at 9:45 PM Nepali time at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

After the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) expressed interest in the condition of the field and the security system, stating that Dashrath Stadium is unfit to host the World Cup Qualifiers, after writing to ANFA to decide a neutral venue, both matches will be played in Saudi Arabia. Since Nepal could not host the match, Saudi Arabia accepted to host this match for Nepal.

The match between Nepal and Yemen is also being held at the same stadium. Nepal, which is in Group ‘H’, had suffered defeat in all four matches earlier. Nepal lost 4-0 against UAE and 2-0 against Yemen. Similarly, Nepal lost the first match against Bahrain by 5-0 and the second match by 3-0.
